My roommate's boss (Paul) wanted his typeset documents to look like the typewritten documents that everybody else was using (Yes, I know how that sounds, but it's true). He and my roommate looked through all of my Adobe and Bitstream font books and couldn't find quite the face they needed. So I made one that was just right.
Paul's Typewriter is designed to look like a typewriter font, the kind you get from your daisy wheel printer or typewriter. If Paul needed it, maybe somebody else could use it too.
The file here contains the screen and printer fonts and AFM file (not that you would need the AFM file for a monospaced font). The screen fonts come in sizes 11, and 24. Use the 11 point size to simulate your basic typewriter. The underlines are a bit strange. The font was created with Fontographer 3.0.
